Hermes Berrío (b. 1980, Colombia) is a Miami-based artist whose work captures the vibrancy and complexity of contemporary urban life. He received his BFA from New York University in 2005. In recent years, Berrío has participated in solo and group exhibitions across the United States, Latin America, Europe, and Australia.
His work is included in important public and private collections around the world, including The Bunker Art Space in West Palm Beach and the Miami-Dade County Public Art Collection.
Berrío is the recipient of numerous awards, including the Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant (2018, 2022, 2025), the Ruth and Harold Chenven Foundation Grant (2019), the South Florida Cultural Consortium Grant (2023), and the Miami Individual Artist (MIA) Grant (2023, 2024). He was a Fountainhead Studios resident artist from 2019 to 2024.
